  1. Our lovely black and white cat has gone missing from Anstey Road SE15. Her name is Pip, 4 years old, no collar but she is microchipped. Please could you look in your gardens, sheds etc. I've attached a photo. Thank you. She hadn't wandered too far and was found on Nutbrook Street. Thank you to the lovely person who found her and contacted Celia Hammond.
  2. There is Hall Grange which is near Shirley in Croydon. I don't know much about it except its recently been refurbished. It takes about 30mins to drive there from East Dulwich.
  3. For my son's DofE he volunteered at Park Run at Dulwich Park on Saturday mornings.
  4. @DV77 my contact was Samuel Hepworth who then passed my details onto Tom Compton who was compiling the list of interested roads - [email protected] @spider69 I don't think they are intending to put points on your road unless you express an interest. Although the bike storage units appeared on the roads without much consultation so I could be wrong.
  5. I've been in touch with Southwark council in regards to electric charge points on our road. They were pretty quick to respond and said they have been compiling the list of potential sites and preferred lamp columns for installation of electric charge points. They've also started the site surveys and electrical testing involved for this and have said they assume completion of all sites mid September. You can email them and ask them to add your road to the potential sites.
  6. The season is almost over but Demonettes currently train on a Wednesday at Charter school. Not sure whether training will still be at the same venue next season though. Also Met league play every Tuesday over Waterloo way. Take a look at their website www.demonettes.co.uk for more info.
  7. Is this your car? Dark Blue VW Golf reg RA56 NSY. It is parked in a restricted parking area and it's now got 4 parking tickets. I called the local police station to check if it had been stolen but apparently not. It is someone local but obviously police can't give me your address otherwise I'd knock on your door.
  8. The hall is being redecorated so the 34th Camberwell Scout group are meeting at another hall for a couple of weeks, think we are meant to return to Rye Hill Tenants Association hall 19th May. If you email Barbara (cub leader) at [email protected] she should be able to give you some more information.
  9. Completely understand there is a need for primary school places in the area but where will all these children go to secondary school? Perhaps the thinking is everyone moves away or sends their kids to private school in this area. Also I never understood why Bellenden School couldn't be made bigger or even use the old site by splitting the school between two sites. Nursery through to Year 2 (Infants) in their current location with Years 3 to 6 (Junior) at the old school or vice a versa. Suppose it just boils down to money, funding streams etc, oh and the likelihood that having the word Dulwich in the title will provoke more interest!
  10. I've just called CQC and they have said that the home was fully compliant on their last visit dated 31 October 2012. The lady on the phone said that as far as she was aware and according to her records that Cherrycroft was still registered as a care home.
  11. Yes. Bay window, pop up roof. Very lovely. The summer won't be the same without it!
  12. My friend's campervan was stolen last night from Pepys Road (Telegraph Hill area). Its probably long gone by now but if everyone could please keep a look out for it. The van is white and the registration number is UNH 375K. Thanks.
