Scooter stolen outside M&S near East Dulwich Station today at around 16:20h. My son parked his scooter near the bike rack outside M&S today and it got stolen. It is an adult sized, white scooter, pictured here a few years back. Let me know if you see it in the area. I can't remember what brand it is, but it is not micro.

Quoting the ones that said that "traffic has been down 12%" that is a lie, the traffic may have been down during covid lockdowns, but it has more than doubled on some roads because of this stupid displacement.

PCN for driving in Dulwich village, help please!
cacaolat replied to renarde's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I just got my appeal allowed for driving through the restriction in Townley Road. My main argument was that the sign is not directly next to the lane, but there is a cycling lane inbetween , which is separated by bollards. The information below should be useful to anyone who also got a ticket and wants to appeal. Just be patient. The council will refuse the appeal, as they always do, but there is the independent adjudicator. Here is what the adjudicator said: However, although the one sign that is at the location is that prescribed by Diagram 953 at Item 33 in Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016, being a permitted variant thereof, as indicating 'route for use by buses, pedal cycles and taxis', it is the only sign and is not immediately adjacent to the lane in which the vehicle is seen to travel, but rather it is on a fenced island with a cycle lane in between. There is no other Diagram 953 sign at this point of the road. -

I hope the police can identify these horrible people. Hate crime should never be overlooked. -

We were looking to have a stairs runner fitted. From recommendations on this forum we found Micheal 07874 982 485. He was excellent in any way. Quick communication, friendly, clean working and he gave very good advice. The price was also reasonable and we are pleased with the result. His company is called Carpettrust.

After reading this post I hired Stef to pressure wash our patio and front garden, also clean all the windows inside and out.He was brilliant. He was on time , he paid good attention to detail and I could see he cleaned the patio much better than the guy we had a year before. He is also clean and friendly and the price was reasonable. -

It is a basic democratic right of free thinking people, who you would call Guardianistas, to fight the fascist ideology of brexiteers and do something against it. After all Brexit was brought to us by lies and deception. Can someone ban Brexiteers from trying to stop the democtratic right of setting up petitions.

Beckenham gym staff members abusive behavior to Gambado customers
cacaolat replied to cacaolat's topic in The Lounge
I had a response from the gym manager. He says the person on the picture does not work for the gym. I reality the guy was in charge of the gym yesterday, he went in and out, was receiving people at the reception there and he also had access to their kind of boiler room. and should I ever have to prove this (only if I have to) then there were plenty of witnesses, not to his first rage but to shout I am a sad man. (sad because there are people like him). -

Hi TheCat, I am an experienced driver, but l only saw one faint arrow when I left. When I arrived at 9.45am these must have been hidden by frost. Just because the entrance to the premises are one way, with no visible arrows it does not mean the whole parking space is. In fact I add 2 pictures taken from Google earth, it is not an obvious one way at all. -

I just did complain in writing. Going into the gym would have meant more confrontation with a rude bully. -
