  2. Classical music concert playing Handel, Mahler and Whitley played in the Bold Tendencies car park in the heart of Peckham. Open to all ages Handel: Passacaglia Mahler: Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen with Sarah-Jane Lewis - soprano Kate Whitley: New piece created by The Multi-Story Youth choir, with percussionists Elsa Bradley and Jude Carlton We are joined by our favourite soprano Sarah-Jane Lewis to perform Mahler's beautiful Ich Bin der Welt abhanden gekommen alongside a new piece by Kate Whitley for orchestra and children's choir, and a new arrangement of Handel's Passacaglia for orchestra. We will be joined by young singers and instrumentalists from the Multi-Story youth ensemble and choir, who first came together for our 2017 BBC Proms performance. The group tours local school halls and playgrounds, and runs choir projects that bring together hundreds of young people to perform alongside the Orchestra.
