  1. Lots of useful information on the council website, including a link to Southwark?s Emergency Support Scheme, accessing food banks and organisations to volunteer with. Best wishes all https://www.southwark.gov.uk/health-and-wellbeing/public-health/for-the-public/coronavirus

  3. Who knows? Could it have been some kind of emergency? An emergency kip? But ffs don't just blame the council straight off without a clue. If you have a complaint register it here: https://www.southwark.gov.uk/council-and-democracy/complaints-comments-and-compliments/making-a-complaint
  4. For those who are able to, please consider walking your kids to school instead of driving. Especially on a bright dry morning like today. Really unpleasant scenes at Goodrich this morning because of the volume of traffic and gridlock it caused. The level of aggressive behaviour that some motorist displayed in front of children and parents is shameful.
  5. The Albrighton Community Centre off Dog Kennel Hill runs a community fridge Tuesday to Thursdays from 1pm. https://www.neighbourly.com/project/59539b5dc7ac8903400c4c56
  6. Lost in the picnic area of Peckham Rye park last Friday 05/10/18 Please PM me if you find it! Thanks
  7. Blimey, a juvenile sparrowhawk just swooped down onto our garden fence and took out one of the local gang of noisy sparrows - they've gone very quiet just now.....
  8. Has anyone been to this festival in St Malo? And if so, how was it? Would it be manageable with 2 young children? (thinking more of the beach stage during the day time.) Any tips or advice appreciated. Paul
  9. The Hour of Code site could be worth looking at: https://code.org/learn Lots of free tutorials etc Also Hopscotch, which is widely used in the KS2 Computing curriculum - a free app for ipads and iphones
  10. Yes another spanners-up for Balfes. Very happy with a recent service and a good, friendly and knowledgeable bunch.
  11. Hello Just wondered if anyone locally has used DIY Kitchens (based in Yorkshire)as they see to be good value. Is so would you recommend them and be willing for us to pop around and have a look as we haven't managed to get to their Yorkshire showroom yet. Thanks very much, Paul and Laura
