  1. Hi all - I'm a local private chef and I'm running a Sri Lankan inspired pop up on the 19th April in Goodcup near Nunhead. We'll be serving a 5 course menu for £45, with dishes like turmeric gnocchi with red onion and chive oil, and mussels with pickled lime and grilled asparagus. There's only a handful of tickets remaining - they can be booked at http://jacklury.com/reservations . Any queries drop me a message at [email protected]. Thanks!
  2. LURY has available sittings on Friday the 23rd of February at Poached in East Dulwich. We are offering two sittings: 6pm and 8:45pm. Both sittings are offering the same 10 course tasting menu priced at £90. We encourage diners to arrive promptly, as guests are served at the same time, so late arrival may mean missed courses. BOOK NOW Before booking please note that we serve a small number of guests a set tasting menu amongst which are various meat and fish courses. As such, unfortunately we are unable to cater for dietary preferences or restrictions. If in doubt, please drop us an email prior to booking to discuss if we are able to accommodate. LURY Mouthwatering Sri Lankan flavours meet French classical techniques LURY is a pop-up restaurant created by Jack Lury, which combines the techniques of his classical training with the flavours of his Sri Lankan heritage. Think sambols and string hoppers bursting with aromas of tamarind, turmeric and coconut, meeting rich sauces, roasted meats and exquisite patisserie. Jack earned his Cordon Bleu diploma at the Tante Marie culinary school, before working at some of the country’s best restaurants including Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, L’Enclume and Galvin at Windows. Since then he has made his reputation as a private chef for high-end clients across the country, including A-list celebrities, heads of state, members of the Royal Family and anyone who loves exquisitely crafted, delicious food. In 2022, Jack began experimenting with a pop-up concept which fused modern techniques of French cuisine with the soul of Sri Lanka. After tryouts in his front room, stints across South London and a sold out residency for a month in Camberwell, LURY now comes to East Dulwich from February 2024.
