  1. I can also highly recommend Greg. He came out to look at an issue I had with my toilet on a Sunday and it was all fixed the following day - speedy, reliable and not expensive. He is a really nice bloke and leaves everything clean and tidy. Dog friendly too!
  2. I?ve just found this toy on the 63 bus. Does it belong to anyone?
  3. Hi. Can anyone recommend a dog behaviourist? My dog has fear aggression and we need a bit of help.
  4. My dog has stayed with her and loved it. Dogs are even allowed on the bed if they do it at home
  5. If anyone's dog needs a haircut in this hot weather, I would really like to recommend 4 Paws. Marta, who also does dog walking, is so kind and gentle and has a lovely raport with hounds. My dog is very choosy and adores her. She will pick up and drop your dog off too. [email protected] 07402330006
  6. Yes, I have to look at these every day and they are so depressing. I've heard that the houses are still incomplete because the developer died.
  7. Yeah - I know who you're referring to... He doesn't make it down to Dunstans - unless he drives.
  8. I have lived near Goodrich School for over 20 years and dog fouling has been an infuriating and ongoing issue. When my children attended the school, I used to occasionally put up hand written notices to remind dog owners to pick up. Last year I actually provided poo bags on the lamp post outside my house - nobody used them. As I dog owner myself and a resident of Dunstans Rd, very close to the school, I am both perplexed and miffed. All the dog owners I know in the area always pick up, so I can't imagine who is doing this. I might add that after having often picked up poo outside my house I realise that it is sometimes fox poo - it has a unique smell. However, it's also clear that there are some very thoughtless dog owners out there too.
  9. Goodrich Scool would be a prime candidate for this. It is chaotic, especially in the morning, and there is no lollipop person at any of the surrounding streets. The school has two mini roundabouts next to the school, adding to the problem of crossing roads to get to the school. I suspect that the council will be reluctant to implement anything as Dunstans Rd is a popular rat run for commuters too.
  10. I had a card instructing me to go to the collection office in Wandsworth. I went to complain at the Peckham office and they actually did have the parcel there. Apparently,to cope with the large workload they are using posties from other offices and they are using their own cards, not SE15 ones. So ignore cards telling you to head to Wimbledon or Wigan - just head for Highshore Road
  11. I'm very near the school. All quiet now it seems, but it was doing its thing for nearly an hour
  12. I've just posted about hearing an owl - it's still hooting. I'm on Dunstans and there are a lot of large trees in our back gardens. Last week I saw a sparrow hawk in my neighbours garden. So heartwarming
  13. I live on Dunstans Road. It's a warm evening and my window is open and I can hear an owl....
  14. Hi At the top end of Dunstans Road the pavements are cluttered with wheely bins which are left on the pavement all week. This makes it difficult to walk along if you want to walk two abreast, have young children and buggies or certain disabilities. Pavements are for pedestrians not bins, surely... I'm not sure why the residents do this as they all have front gardens of a decent size. I live on the section of Dunstans between Goodrich Road and Peckham Ryeand although we have more modest gardens, an all of us still squeeze our bins in.
