  1. DNZ are planning a third meeting in October, and will create more online content before. Please keep checking the website and social media.
  2. According to Andrew and the venue, the meeting is going ahead - only a small group is expected. If you are uncomfortable for whatever reason, then simply ask for feedback after the meeting. It is all within the new "rules" and perfectly safe. London has virtually zero "cases", whatever that means :-) Hope this helps you.
  3. Well the debate is tricky, but can I suggest you contact Andrew direct - who is the main founder, and has the most interest in home energy and the new gov scheme. I will probably be absent from this Weds event, sadly. Good luck with your enquiry and the outcome. M
  4. Take a look at this young gal's website. She is local and still starting out. She maybe able to do small ad hoc projects on restricted budgets. Good luck. https://www.rocketgardendesign.com/about
  5. Well that is a good point. Some would say that this is educational, therefor ok, some would say there is no actual legal basis for any rules such as these. So maybe we are playing it by ear for now. There is a lot of pushback on the madness by MPs, lawyers and pressure groups. It may get it all reversed, fingers crossed...
  6. Hi take a look at our new Dulwich Net Zero website and Facebook. We have a meeting on Weds 23rd eve at Oru, rules permitting. Andrew Cunningham, one of the founders, is trained as a Home Energy Assessor. He could probably advise you. Good luck.
  7. I'm looking forward to our first real life meeting, in the lovely studio space on the ground floor of Oru. You walk through the cafe and it is down the left hand door, behind the seating. It's a lovely newly refub space, light and airy. We are hoping the Oru manager Paul will join us. See you there.
  8. The Facebook group for DNZ is live now. Please have a look and sign up if you are interested. A website should be up and running shortly.
  9. As a quick update, we are in the process of putting a Facebook group together. A website and social media should be up before the next monthly meeting in August. Please do get in touch if you are interested/able to contribute with any of this. PP
  10. Have you looked at outdoor bootcamps? I think some of them are back in business. British Military Fitness are great and used to run sessions in Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Alternatively. some of the running clubs have re-started now too. Good luck with your return-to-fitness journey.
  11. Thank you to Andrew for hosting the first meeting last night. A dozen people logged in to to find out about reducing one's carbon footprint from home, in simple and practical ways. It's hoped a website and social media will follow soon. There's a second meeting in a month's time, at a local venue (possibly in person). You can calculate your own carbon emissions using a online calculator such as carbonfootprinnt.com. You can read up more on Net Zero, and the changes we need to make, on the Committee for Climate Change website.
  12. Looking forward to the launch night. Lots to talk about I'm sure. :-)
  13. I'm looking forward to being on the start-up call on 22nd. There are a lot of simple and practical steps I know we can action. Now is the time to "build back greener"! The new gov Green Home Grant seems a good support for future energy saving/carbon emission reductions too.
  14. I've been looking for one too, and found there is good info on Money Saving Expert. They have a guide online and info pointing to contacts and organisations. Good luck.
