Mastering Maths Difficulties

My name is Marianne Boutall and my company is called Mastering Maths Difficulties. I have been a specialist maths teacher since 2009 and a Dyscalculia/Maths Difficulties assessor since 2020. I am qualified to do diagnostic assessments for pupils with difficulties in maths. These diagnostic reports, if a diagnosis of Dyscalculia or Maths Difficulties has been given, can be used for Disability Student Allowance (DSA) puposes, the funding granted to support pupils' additional needs in further education. Does your child have difficulties in mathematics that are not in line with their underlying ability? Have they historically found maths tricky? If so, they may have a Maths Learning Difficulty (MLD), Dyscalculia or Dyslexia (which can affect maths achievement). I am currently doing a masters in Dyscalculia. I have been a primary school teacher since 2001, a specialist maths teacher for 10 years and have advanced teacher status in Dyscalculia.
