Hi, I need a plumber who is happy to travel to East Sheen to disconnect an old washing machine. Indesit who were just there to fit the new one for my mum say the pipes are seized and they can't put the new one in until old one taken out and pipes tested!! Why is everything always so tricky? Thanks

BAKING CLASSES FOR PRE SCHOOLERS: Dear all, I am thinking of starting up a pre-school baking class. I thought I might see if local parents/carers might be interested. I'm trying to work out how long each class should be and what to charge. Obviously I need to think about the ingredients and equipment that I'll need. I can't make a loss but also don't want to charge too much to put people off. I was thinking of a class that ran from 10am-11.30, this should allow for school drop off and pick up. Every week the children would make something different, whether int be novelty fairy cakes, spiced decorated biscuits or flapjacks. They would wash their hands, pinny up, measure and weigh, mix, bake and decorate depending on what we're making. While things are cooking we'd be washing up and preparing icing/packaging. I thought I would invite the parent/carer to stay if they want to help or possibly to have coffee in the sitting room. What I don't need is a load of women standing around chatting while I'm trying to help their lovelies. Please help me and tell me what you think. I love baking and kids so this seems like the perfect idea for me but it may not be worth all the effort. Thanks Laura Whoops put this in Residential earlier!!

Yes there is a drama/music/dance club at Goodrich called FREEDOM on a Saturday morning. Run by Kat they cater for various age groups. 10-1pm. My daughter loves it. I know that they also do classes after school but I dont't know when, sorry. Good luck.

Our over friendly, bouncy, happy but always hungry labradoodle left home last night. Please help us get her home safely. Her name is WINNIE, she's 2 years old, she's not wearing a collar as I was washing it but she is micro chipped. PHOTO ATTACHED Many many thanks.

My sister is the head of an Academy in Hackney and is therefore always looking at the results of other academys in London. On Sunday she remarked on how brilliantly Crystal Palace Academy has done this year. Obviously worth a look.

That would be fantastic. I've been trying to persuade some friends to start one for years. Apparently there used to be 2 in ED. We use the Ritzy frequently but never the Peckham Odeon/Vue? With kids getting to an age where they can go off on there own it would be great for them as well as for adults. FAB

I've had some good evenings at Green and Blue, but I went there today and had a very disappointing lunch. The waitress was surly beyond belief and the vegetarian platter was deeply disappointing. In response to my (very gently put) observation to the waitress that the vegetarian platter seemed to comprise mostly leaves, I was informed that I should order something else. It's good advice and I will in future -- somewhere else.

My sister wants to know where to find gay friends in east dulwich. Seems easy in Hackney but I don't know of anywhere around here, how can I get her to move south of the river if there's nowhere for her to meet friends. thanks
