My goodness I just paid ?6.50 for a pint of beer at a pub on the lane , I don?t remember the prices being so excessive or is it me ?

Just throwing a long line out to see if anyone remembers or has photos or information of the Honor Oak Abbey located in Honor Oak Rise next to one tree hill. It was demolished in 1960, to make way for a block of flats that currently occupy the site . Alternatively the Priory down the hill also in Honor Oak rise ? Wanting to know the denomination and find out some more information, as doesn't appear to be much around on the topic.
