Lets just say i left the common later minus boxers and socks, as well as possible wounded pride.
  2. If i had witnessed this he would be leaving in an emergency services vehicle, but would be going to Kings rather than the nearest cop shop. I do not understand why people stand by and do nothing when these incidents occur, this man clearly needs a bit of a kicking to keep him in line.
  3. Im quite glad it went down, because i was working from home, i had a great excuse to get drunk in the sunshine.
  4. I think youll need to just put up with it mate, since all the bars and nightclubs are closed. Where else are people supposed to go and get bang on it?
  5. You have to go in the bush, which is annoying when there is so many joggers puffing past. Its even worse on Peckham Rye Common, there are not even any bushes! So you have to slash against a tree in full view of everyone.
  6. You might consider reading this before pointing the finger at Sadiq Khan https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/may/19/bailout-london-transport-network-tories-tfl-coronavirus-pandemic Its the Tories mate, they are the reason your freebie pass is affected.
  7. "Freedom passes" should never be allowed during peak times, as it means there is less space for passengers who pay through the nose for it. Freedom passes would mean far more delays in summer too, with people fainting etc. Currently all buses are free anyway so im not sure what the fuss is all about. TFL cant currently afford many more hand outs. Many folk entitled to Freedom passes probably live in and own a ?1 million house, lock and stock (especially round here). Im not sure it should be beyond their means to fork out for a taxi, rather than see London grind to a halt when TFL goes bankrupt.
  8. I've noticed large groups of men drinking and socialising outside a Nigerian sounding restaurant by Lidl in Peckham, opposite Burger King. This has been going on for weeks every time the sun is out. When they hear a Police car approach they all cunningly move 2 meters away from each other. Then people wonder why the Queens Road Peckham area has the most deaths in the borough- 15 as of 2 weeks ago, now probably higher.

There is a food market in Elephant and Castle which i believe is very popular all the time. It is ludicrously priced, a meal on a paper plate will cost at least ?12 and a pint ?6.50, which sticks in the throat somewhat when mere yards away thousands of folk are living in poverty.
  10. None of this adds up- people are really pleased at using their services for free, well guess what if everyone does this they will go out of business. I wonder what the owner thinks about getting paid nothing to open the door of a ?1.25 million pound house, just because the resident was too occupied with the darling kids to remember their keys?
  11. I'd be careful shopping in Peckham right now, no one there gives a damn about social distancing and people seem more interested in arguing with one another or shop staff than not catching a deadly virus which has had a big effect in the area (15 people have died in the Queens Road Peckham area alone).
  12. Foxes are indeed a pain in the arse and although i have never harmed or tried to harm any of them that muck up my garden, id be lying if i didnt say i had not considered it. Its interesting how foxes are not considered to be vermin and actively discouraged by the council, and steps taken to eradicate them.

It is not antisocial to have a party till 4am. in fact, its extremely social to stay up with friends chatting and laughing and not kicking them out because you are afraid what your Victor Meldrew neighbours might think. I dont understand why instead of complaining they do not just pop round and join the party, there is always plenty of beers in the fridge.
  14. I live very close to where the market takes place but i have never been a big fan of it. Its hard to get through the road om a saturday as its full of people simply delighted by ?9 portions of hog roast. There isnt really anything decent there to see or do, and at the Christmas Cracker thingy i actually had to call the council and complain about the noise (i had been up all night getting mashed and wanted to sleep until the afternoon). They might as well just can the thing IMO, anything there you can just buy in a shop.
  15. I've noticed a lot of people are just leaving things outside their house for people to take during this pandemic. Fair enough, if people want it enough, theyll take it. If not, leave it where it is.
  16. "jog on and do one"? Haha, quality. You must have been watching 'Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels' or 'The Football Factory' recently. Is that what you say to the helpers you advertise for if they do not wash the dishes satisfactorily?

If the manager would > like a photo of the incident, I would be happy to > oblige but for the purposes of this forum, it > would infringe on his privacy. There is a chap who appears to be the manager of the pub sat outside on the benches right now, drinking coffee out of crockery from the pub and from my eavesdropping discussing improvements to the pub interior. No doubt they read this forum, as when we called them out for charging ?25 for a roast, they promptly dropped the price by a fiver.
  18. I have found the Royal Mail to be decent, turns up almost every day in the Goose Green Ward. Which is more concerning is the amount of couriers hurtling over speed bumps right outside my window, they are going so fast it sounds like a small explosion.
  19. I think it is time that pubs should open again, because if they dont soon, they never will. Im sure there are ways they could be kept safe enough- Italy is opening their bars and restaurants next week!

So you queued to get into Sainsburys so you could go and argue for a refund you were not entitled to (as you had no receipt), for the sake of ?2? Wow. Every time i go and buy fags in Sainsburys I always seem to be caught in a rapidly expanding queue at the customer services till (which also sells the fags) as there is someone in their 50s or 60s, probably quite well off financially, doing this exact same thing- holding everyone up by arguing with a part time worker over the most petty of refunds. It is infuriating. Why could you not just take the lost ?2 on the chin, as 'one of those things'? And why does it matter if you have shopped there for 20 years, do you expect a red carpet to be laid in-store upon your arrival, and staff to bend rules for you which would probably lead to them having disciplinary action taken against them?
  21. PnB stands for Pink and Blue- the colours of our local football team, even though I've always been more of a lacrosse man myself.
  22. I have it on good authority that the Wealdstone Raider has never attended games against Dulwich Hamlet as he is too wary and afraid of what 'The Rabble' (Dulwich Hamlet fans) might do to him if he opens his gob. Insults about the latest humus flavours in M&S, potential rental income fluctuations, and taunting about the star rating of the hotel in the recent Alps skiing trip are meant to make him rather offended.
  23. There was some good graffiti recently on a wall at the beginning of Frogley Road, beside what used to be "Truly Scrumptious". It said "F*** Corona Virus" in yellow and green colours. Unfortunately it was painted over rather quickly.
  24. I dont have any pets. Even if i did i would not try to stop people doing something they are perfectly allowed to do, just because i choose to keep an animal captive in an urban environment.
  25. Many thanks, shame i may not be able to find any in person, i wanted to set them off around midnight in front of the 'supermoon' tonight for maximum effect.
