Yesterday, while having my car washed at the Chesterfield Road carwash, a painting that was in the back of my car was removed so that the interior could be cleaned. By mistake this package was then put in someone else's car (a blue Renault, possibly with a disabled badge) which was then driven away by the owner. The parcel, a rectangular brown paper package just back from the framers in Lordship Lane, belongs to my boss who bought the picture in Amsterdam and it is irreplaceable. Needless to say I am in a very awkward situation, and hope that the blue Renault owner will notice the unexpected package in his car and return it to the carwash. If anyone could throw some light on this, I would be very grateful if you could contact me.
