  1. Security guards are just that, they are there to provide a secure environment be it against shoplifters, fights, nuances, etc. They are trained for such role and if the Sainsburys's SGs are not then they should not be employed.
  2. There are probs with ntlworld & virgin media....accdg to recorded msg engineers are working on it & shd be up & running by 12pm. Let's see.
  3. Bus 381 (final destination Waterloo) goes to Surrey Quays, Canada Water, etc. I think you can catch it from Peckham somewhere.
  4. Keep your hair on Ben...we are all entitled to express opinions here whether you are in agreement or not & if you're that bored with my opinion then you didn't need to reply to my last post. I simply reminded you of the subject of this thread in case you forgot since you are the one who wanted us all to stay away from the "sushi" subject. And BTW FORUMS are there for everyone to express opinions negative & positive & not just an appreciation forum unless specifically stated! Gawd you should try visit other forums other than EDF but be prepared not to have a heart attack!! I'm out of here until I log in again to give my unbiased opinion on the sushi once I've tried it. ciao

In case you overlooked but the title of this thread is - "new bar 'BOHO' serving sushi" -which is no doubt being flogged by the owner. Hence sushi is the main topic for discussion.
  6. Going in & asking them don't think will give us the answer. Only way is to try & eat them yourself. So..when would be the best day to go to Boho with the intention of having sushi as opposed to drinking & I'll take my Japanese friend with me who can judge the food?
  7. Somehow I can't imagine a bar would be able to serve proper & even edible sushi at all....not with the sort of establishment like Boho. Sushi is handled with care & lots of preparations for it to be consumed fresh. Boho seems more of drinks first then "sushi" as a side dish in which case their sushi is probably bought ready made & stored in the fridge until it's sold. In which case one might end up eating an old sushi. Or am I being unreasonable & critical.
  8. On the grand opening this saturday , will you be serving food/sushi or just drinks??
  9. Can someone tell me where this BOHO bar is actually situated...some reference pt will be helpful.:) I'll take my Japanese friend with me on Sat & she can judge the food.
  10. Anyone knows if there is such place around the area? I'm interested on joining as a hobby & of course to learn new skills.
  11. Definitely a mobile shop is needed Carphone, 4U, O2 etc.
  12. I mean seriously....for the price they charge you might as well go to a hairdresser in central London like Fenwicks, Hebe, etc. They are locally based which means overhead expensewise it is nowhere near if they are in the West End or Mayfair, or anywhere central...BUT they still criminally charge for a bloody simple haircut esp if you only have a short hair!!!! These hairdressers are really taking the piss thinking they're so damn exclusive!!!(6)
  13. How about a travel agency? It would be nice to be able to talk f2f with someone for advice/comments/etc. Also Jamie's Recipease.
  14. Hey thanks guys re Merrifields...didn't know that!:))
  15. ED could do with a shoe repair shop & jewellery/repair shop. Any others...
  16. Ah I suppose our experience was rather different as we became quite firendly with the owner & her daughter. So that everytime we order either takeaway or eat in & always asked for specific way of cooking , say fish or any other dish, they're quite compliant. I asked the veg shop next door the other day & he said that she probably just retired.
  17. I always wanted/curious to know why this lovely & only decent chinese restaurant in the area closed down. It's our second fav restaurant whenever we couldn't be bothered to go to Chinatown. Any idea why it closed down?
  18. My nephew (with his other friends) appeared on Judge Judy to give evidence on behalf of the defendant & won.....does that count?;-)
  19. Oh that's good to know....thanks. Anyone else?
  20. I've been with O2 for years (T-Mobile before that) and never had problems with them at all. But now I'm getting a Blackberry Bold & Orange has the cheapest tariff rate for this ie ?24.00/mo for 18 mo contract & I paid ?78 for the phone which I can switch to PAYG after 18 mos as long as I pay min ?10 for top-up which is no big deal. But I'll appreciate any opinions re Orange as I have 7 days to decide if I want to go ahead. Thanks.
