Desperate to get to a beach (pretty much any beach) this weekend. What are the fastest ways to get to an acceptable bit of the coast by either train or car??

Desperately trying to find a decent nursery for my 2.5yr old daughter from January - as you can imagine this is a process that redefines the word 'fraught'. I need somewhere that can take her from say 8.30 to 6 and the 2nd Steps nursery on Heron Road has come up as a possibility - I can't find anything online or in any reviews. Does anyone on the EDF have any experience of this place that they can share... Ta S
