I am an experienced primary school teacher, currently working part-time in a Southwark school. I have been teaching for over 17 years and have taught every year group from Reception to year 6. I have also taught trainee teachers as a tutor and lecturer at The Institute of Education. I have a passion for child-centred learning and a continuing interest in children and their emotional and academic development. I am always exploring new ways to inspire and motivate children to learn. I am particularly skilled at breaking down barriers to learning, such as a lack of confidence, so that children can fully engage in and enjoy the learning process. I am fully committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. I usually provide 1:1 sessions, but can offer Online sessions via Zoom for children at KS1 and 2. I also tutor children to prepare them for the 11+ examination. I can offer the first session free of charge and, if you and your child are happy to continue, I charge ?30 per hour.
