Football holiday camp is back at Athenlay and will be running from 3rd - 6th and 11th - 14th April, from 10am - 3pm. All kids ages 7-13 (yr 3 - yr 8) are welcome and will be £25 a day. Athenlay football club are looking for any young females (16+) that are interested in football coaching to join our quickly expanding girls football programme , experience is not necessary just a good attitude towards commitment. We will support and pay for any coaching courses. The Young coaches programme we have been running for the last few years has seen 10 young lads gain their level 1 qualification another 4 have gone on to complete the f.a level 2 qualification and everyone of these young coaches has been offered payed coaching roles within the club. We now have over 100 girls aged between 7 and 14 playing and training at athenlay so we are really keen to help more young females get on to the coaching pathway and help the female football continue to grow. Athenlay football club is a local grassroots f.a chartered standard youth football club based near Harris girls East Dulwich, we have over 20 teams from ages 8 right through to 21, we also have 6 girls teams u9,u10,u11,12,13,14 and we run a girls only wildcats center which is for girls aged 5 to 9 this program is to introduce girls into football in a fun and positive environment. we are currently looking for new players to join our existing teams especially our u12s and u11s boys teams ( new year 6 and 7 school years). we do not hold trials and have an open door policy for anyone who wants to play football , we see ourselves as a community club so everyone is welcome, we will never turn a child away for not being good enough. for anymore information please don't hesitate to drop me a message or you can call me on 07415232083. kind regards paul parker.
