  1. Looking for a decent carpenter to install skirting in a large bedroom and poly coving to the same room. Proper accurate mitre cuts and no bodging required. Sorry to be so specific but had bad experiences in the past. Many thanks. Nick.
  2. The lady in the Dry Cleaners next to the Cobblers by East Dulwich station is brilliant. Excuse the vagueness,
  3. On a personal note the more people keep away from Kim's and head to William Rose, the more brilliant meat for me. Kim is a legend. Local food hero.
  4. massive holes in road at bottom of Devonshire Rd (Forest Hill end) Big incident. The South circular will no doubt need to be shut for repairs
  5. These guys are absolutely brilliant. http://www.timbarton.co.uk/t-bass. They are also local.
  6. Great teacher. Both my Son and myself have lessons. My Son passed his guitar exams with distinction and I have rediscovered my love of just simply playing. Thanks Tim.

  17. I have to disagree with the above message strongly. Shotokan will not help you out there. How hard do you pressure test your technique? Do you have any Animal Day training? How do you respond when someone throws a punch etc that is not orthodox? Are you allowed to bite? Gouge? Stamp? Pull hair? What about ground work? Can you wrestle? Armlock? Choke? I am notbtryingbto diss you or your class But traditional martial arts are a complete irrelevance in a reality based confrontation. For more info do a google for Geoff Thompson. Incredible self defence teacher who pressure tests everything and forces you to prepare by reality based training.
