Thanks Elloriac. I have a carrier and will try and get him to the vet if no one claims him but although he is friendly he is quite wary so will need to gain his trust. I also suspect that if he isn't neutered he probably won't be chipped either.

This ginger cat has been visiting the gardens of Ryedale and Dunstans Grove on and off since January. Of late he has been hanging around our garden for long periods. I believe he is a male unneutered cat, and although he looks in reasonably good condition he appears to be hungry. He is also fairly friendly which makes me think he was a pet at some stage. Does anyone know anything about him?
