I strongly recommend Paul's Custom Cycles on Bellenden Road. He is dedicated to excellent, honest and practical service and lives by his reputation as an independent. I have had many good experiences and bits of advice. Most recently I had an old mountain bike serviced which needed a lot of work. He quoted a cost at the outset prior to discovering loads of faults needing replacement, then stuck to his quoted cost for man-hours, not charging me for 9 hours labour! He knows his stuff.
