  1. We received a waiting list position a few weeks ago at the end of April.
  2. I received update from Southwark. We applied for 4 Southwark schools, 3 of them we've moved between 5-10 places. 1 school has had zero movement (not sure if this is because they haven't updated list yet)
  3. Ahh that's good news! We didn't get any of our choices but was number 1 for one of the schools on offer day. Haven't heard a word from them and emailed them last week. Hoping this week some news comes in!
  4. Has anyone at all had any movement yet in Southwark? I know Kingsdale have contacted parents but we are in the 200s and moved 10 places so clearly no chance. Other areas have had second round offers end of last week but haven't heard anything myself or had email reply. Hoping they respond over the half term
  5. With Southwark you have to ask. I emailed them this morning and have had no response thouugh
  6. Yes harris peckham usually has mixed thoughts. Its best to view the school in person and see how you both feel. Also explore applying for other schools you didn't originally apply for as a back up/another option. I applied for 2 additional schools as late applications when i saw we got none of our preferences as tbh im not happy with what we got. The lists should hopefully move over easter. Late applications are being processed after 1st April so if you do want to do one you have to be quick
  7. Hi we didn't get any of our 6 either and was allocated an underscribed school. Have you asked Southwark for his waiting list positions. There should be some movement happening soon and if he is high on the lists for at least one of his preferences he may not end up attending the school you have been allocated.
  8. From my understanding from 15th March all late applications and school rejection are processed. Lists will then by updated by the 1st April. After the 1st you are able to request an update on position/ may receive an offer if they are able to offer one.
  9. Im hoping lists will move from 15th March. We were told we have until 15th to accept our allocated place, i didn't do anything however the option to accept or decline has now disappeared. I then received a letter a few days ago welcoming us to the school. We are banking on a waiting list position at one of our listed preferences..waiting is hard so hopefully its not much longer!
  10. Im about 1300m from charter ed and 120-odd on waiting list
  11. Yeah there will be alot of movement so fingers crossed. We are in the 100s and 200s for the other schools on our list so really banking on the one that we have a high position for. I know a few people who have gotten 5th or 6th choice
  12. We didn't get any of our 6 choices and allocated a school that I am disappointed with. I emailed Southwark and got a speedy response. We basically have no chance except for one school for which we are VERY high on the list. I am going to contact the school tomorrow though to double confirm our position
