  1. Thanks Bonaome, I did that but your positive feedback is reassuring. Very much appreciated.
  2. Hi there, We are about to start the primary school application for our nearly 4 year old son. He has had some learning and languages difficulties over the last few months and we would like to ask any parent out there facing a similar situation about feedback on primary schools. We are currently considering Heber and Goodrich schools as the first and second option, and while we really liked both of them we think Heber School may suit him best, being a smaller school. Any feedback or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Hi there, Very interested in this. Sounds what I have been looking for. Can I drop in and book on the day or do I need to book in advance? Can't seem to find a link on the hoop app. Thanks
  4. Hi , I am also expecting number 2 at the beginning of April and would love to join the group. Is it still possible and who should I contact to be added? Thanks, Marta

We must report this things to police straight away. Spread the word everyone please.
  7. What is the police doing about it???? Come on, it is Barry Road & Silvester Road ALL THE TIME! Can we not have some coppers to patrol the area? Please help!
  8. Hey ukcomputers, My house was also broken into on Saturday. We have to do something about it. Neighbours should stay alert until we catch them. In the case there's only one gang operating in ED... Tom, That infrared system sounds too good to be true. Does a mobile phone camera show infrared for real? will check them out.
  9. Hi Maxash, We have reported the same incident which occurred on Saturday evening. Please see below: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1004995.. We believe this is getting really serious, and as we can see it is affecting several roads in East Dulwich. I hope your friend is OK, considering the circumstances.
  10. Yeah, not so worried about the people selling dodgy DVDs either... Thanks so much for your kind words BecsBex. Lets hope they catch the bastard(s) soon. Unfortunatelly my flatmate didn't get to see them. She was even frightened to move at all. The funny thing is that the police had a suspect in mind, someone who is 'out of jail and back in the area'. It sounds a bit like out of a movie script but that's what they said. Apparently they know what he looks like but have no actual evidence against him.
  11. Thanks for your sympathy and collaboration EDmummy
  12. A shout out to all the neighbors of East Dulwich and specially the Barry Road / Silvester Road area: There have been a series of burglaries in the area in the last few days / weeks. Police warned my girlfriend last week and when she told me it sounded like one of those things that would never happen to us. Yesterday someone broke into our house to be surprised by our flatmate around 6 30 in the evening on her way back from work. Luckily they didn't have time to take much but some jewelry. Apparently they tend to use the backdoor or back windows to be less exposed. I don't know if it is a single individual or a gang. Police were inspecting the scene of the crime searching for digital prints. They are on the case and have an idea of who could be. It's an awful feeling not to feel safe in your own house, we are trying to take action and improve the security in our flat. But I feel the best action is to spread the word and let everybody know what's happening. Together we can be alert and help to track down the robbers. I would ask everybody to keep your eyes open and report any suspicious behavior to the police right away. Thank you very much, and thanks to the East Dulwich Forum for allowing me to reach all of you readers and neighbors.
