  1. Hi Billy,

Thanks for your advice. The pipe coming from my flat is quite long, I tried the towels and boiling water thing, but I don't think I got enough heat and then the towels froze so probably made it worse. I've tried a hairdryer, but I can't reach the whole length of pipe with it (it's a couple of metres to where it joins with another, larger pipe.)

It's been suggested that one can disconnect the pipe coming out of the boiler. Would you say that is possible?

Is it a safe thing to try?

    Thanks for your help,

  2. Alexander Technique is a way of unlearning unhelpful physical habits that lead to:

    Back pain

    Voice problems

    RSI

    Fatigue and muscle strain

It's helpful for sufferers of chronic health problems and also for performers but also for anyone who wants to avoid shrinking with age or who is resigned to having poor posture.

  3. I regularly cycle through the area described by this proposal and would welcome a return to a 2 way system. I frequently reflect on how the one way system must affect the businesses stranded on the island created by the triangle of one way streets, I also occasionally cycle up Camberwell Grove then down Chadwick Road, forgetting that at the bottom the option is either to cycle all the way round the system or illegally mount the pavement to go the few yards to Bellenden road (or get off an walk) - all options seeming stupid in one way or other and all in the interests of cars being able to speed up for a few metres...

As for the streets being narrow, it seems that the one way streets are the wide streets with plenty of room for two way traffic and parking.

  4. It's true that the menu suddenly became rubbish and bad value, I assumed that they must have been losing money with the old good value menu. But the staff were always friendly and the off the shelf wine good always. Much better than similar priced stuff in supermarkets.
