Chimney Lining Quote

Looking for a quote to line a chimney (silver tubing type lining).

We are looking to have an open fire, but want the chimney lined as we are in a 3 storey set of flats, and don't want any leakage of smoke through dodgy pointing etc. where the chimney is next to a neighbour's wall etc.

Any tips for how much this is likely to cost, or offers from chimney experts to quote etc.

For a 3 storey chimney the cost will be substantially in the scaffolding required - assume ?1000 (I believe, from other conversations) and counting for the whole job. If you are going to get a lining, get one that is rated for wood burning stoves (these burn hotter than standard fires) - the cost of materials won't be that much greater than the overall cost and it gives you far greater flexibility (and would be a selling point). But get advice from experts.
Is scaffolding always essential? I think we are having other work done on the block this year, and so hopefully we can get in when the scaffolding is up in any case, but I wonder if they would work on it with ladders that cling onto a pitched roof (have seen roof work being done like this elsewhere before).
