    Tiling

Yeah watched a video with Craig from Big Brother (remember him) that highlighted the importance of setting out. If I left the PVa ove rnight is there a risk it could "over-dry"? This has been great! thanks!

    Tiling

need a wall tiled in my kitchen, to act as a splashback behind cooker and sink and think it will look better if I did the whole wall. Thinking of attempting it myself - anyone have a a view on how hard tiling is? I'm ok at DIY but don;t want to mess it up - any tips?
  7. Thanks Sue - thats half the fun isn't it.....like my disaster of a lawn....
  8. Thanks Sue, is this from experience? Would be keen to hear any. Will be using a lot of these plants http://www.wallgarden.co.uk/plants.html Have been thinking of holding off until Spring to install it as have read there is a higher chance of the plants "taking"
  9. Has anyone put a "vertical garden" on a wall or fence panel(s)? Got a small square garden and a toddler so don't want to fill up the lawn with plants but would love some greenery - would be interested to hear people's experience.....

    Car Insurance

Can't stress enough that you should follow this methodology......it saved me literally Hundreds of pounds... .https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/car-insurance/
  12. I haven't had a notification - if you could post the "Pool" name I'll join that.
  13. Thanks for the simplicity, though i can assure you my interest is genuine. I can imagine that situation - what i can't imagine is any justifiable reason for that non "irrational, bigoted, misogynistic, antediluvian, a dinosaur, hold archaic views" to have that complaint. What is it about that action of breastfeeding that is so inappropriate? Also, as suggested previously, maybe the complainant could remove themselves from the situation, raspberries, grapes, plums and pineapple in hand, instead of going out of their way to find a member of staff and make a complaint that has no future benefit to their life, that couldn't have been achieved by moving to the milk aisle (pun intended). Again, "What is it about that action of breastfeeding that is so inappropriate?" - this is the single point you have failed to respond to.
  14. Keano, I'm really keen(o) to understand why you are against this - other than you "might have been brought (sic) up with different standards as to what is or is not acceptable or desirable in polite society". Is it the exposed flesh? Is it the baby in a public place? This conversation started with examples of supermarkets, restaurants etc. I'm sure if we all tried really hard we could find examples that are exceptions to the rule (court etc) but i think we would all like to understand your reasoning.
  15. My wife has recently finished breastfeeding after 7 months. The only reason we have been able to transition away is that, after buying every possible bottle, our baby finally took one. We also made a huge effort to try and ensure my wife and baby managed to get out of the house as often as possible, cafe's restaurants, even managed two very short haul flights. I'm really happy to report that we didn't experience any animosity towards us as a family when my wife had to feed in public, people barely noticed. Having many friends also going through this, i can say with a huge amount of confidence that "exhibitionism" does not come into it at all. This is a basic biological need, that should be encouraged for the myriad of health benefits its provides. If this offends you, why don't you remove yourselves from this situation, instead of insisting the mother and baby should, I wold be far more offended by a narrow minded bigot expressing archaic views that are plain wrong, than a breastfeeding mother, in a public place.

  17. i'll piggy back this thread for the same question...... We got married in Handcross, on the South Downs which is lovely, but small.
  18. Beyti in Hisar is just incredible.
  19. I can see McGregor with an ear;y knockout....but that's just my optimism......Will be a dull fight with him chasing Money around the ring and not getting anywhere. On a separate note I have had a couple of White Collar Fights. For one of them I trained at Miguels in Brixton.....a young lad was made to spar with me. The only reason i knew i'd been hit is because my nose was bleeding....i didn't see where it came from or where it went.....He's now doing really well for Matchroom....Isaac Chamberlain....

In that example it is clear that harm will be caused to the child, that doesn't appear to be the case in the CG example, if i am mistaken please do say. I guess there are no right answers in this horrible case.
  22. I do see that, and I guess where I am coming form speaks to your point. The state/authorities step in where harm is being caused criminally, this case doesn't fit that at all. That's where my unease comes from. I guess I sympathise in that I know i would want to do anything, ANYTHING, for any measure of improvement.
