Pyracantha

Recommended Posts

I have a largish pyracantha, currently in a wooden trough, which is looking for a new home. I was training it against a fence and trellis but being pyracantha that obviously wasn't a good idea! I don't really have room for it as have quite a full and established garden, including a very large pyracantha the berries of which are loved by the birds. I will be taking it out of the trough and transferring it to a plastic pot or some such receptacle in the hope that somebody out there would like it and can give it a good home - I would be loathe to destroy it even though it would go into compost.

Currently it is about 4ft high and roughly 3ft wide at the top. The label is no longer on it and I really can't remember if it is orange or red berries. I have pruned it back on occasions but really needs to be left to do its thing. Free to somebody who would really like it.

Thank you.
