Just wanted to share my excitement about this new yoga class. After 1.5 hours of intensive workout you are guaranteed to feel rejuvenated, stretched, and incredibly happy.

They call it flow yoga as it starts with slow movements with gradual increase in intensity, which will phase out towards the end of the class. There is a sequence of asanas that will be incorporated in one complex that you will repeat several times. While practicing you will be listening to a beautiful background music that will help you to enjoy every minute you spend there!

I love how Karen teaches her class - her instructions are very clear; she delicately guides you through each asana, and helps with correct breathing. I've been to three classes so far and she always gave a twist to each class so you won't get bored.

I am not on a commission:) and Karen doesn't even know I post this message but I really wanted to share it with girls, especially new moms who wanted to get back to their shape (at least this is my case with my 6m baby).

Class details:

When: Every Saturday from 9:15 to 10:45

Where: The Dance Studio (Harris Girls Academy).

Homestall Road (past Peckam Rye Park), East Dulwich, SE22 0NR

Instructor: Karen

E-mail: [email protected]

Mobile: 07976 528 668

Drop-in: ?14 and if you can commit to a set of classes this would cost you for a 6-week block: ?72.

Hello there. Can I second. this. I've been along as well and thoroughly enjoyed it. Karen's a great teacher and is really sensitive in tailoring her classes to her students. Also, with the Vinyasa class it all builds up slowly so that by the end, when you're nicely warmed up, you'll find yourself completing sequences which hadn't been easy at the beginning of the class. Really, really enjoyable.

Also, its a beautiful venue. Massive dance studio overlooking Peckham Rye park - so a great view too!

    • I would like to recommend Aaron, who has just finished 5 days plastering work in my house. He is professional , polite, tidy, punctual and reliable. He did a fantastic job, a good price and a top quality finish. Highly recommended! Aaron Manser 07773 410661
    • Sadly, but not unreasonably, councils find it difficult to justify such expenditure on their current budgets. My family, which does like fireworks have been enjoying the displays by those still with disposable wealth by viewing them from Hilly Fields. Other hills (Dawson Heights) are available. For children who have autumn and winter birthdays, a firework display is some consolation for their birthday climate. My grandchildren, being summer babies, can enjoy garden parties and picnics. Without the need for explosions and dazzling display.
    • Hey - I’ve got a spare adult ticket if you want it?
    • Not sure what you mean by "involved with firework enjoyment"? I'm all for others enjoying themselves, and I like fireworks, but if they were limited to public displays then people could still enjoy them? Having said that, I see that tickets for the London New Year fireworks start at £20 (Dawson's Heights it is,  then!) The fireworks in Brockwell Park used to be free. I don't know why those don't happen any more?
