Sing and Sign classes for young babes under 6 months :)

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Trish here from Sing and Sign in Southwark & Lambeth.

My new term of classes starts very soon - w/c 25th April.

I have a small number of places remaining for the new term for Babes of 2- 5 months, Babies (Stage 1) of 6 - 13 months) and Stage 2 (Toddlers of 14 - 24 months).

The Babes class is Sing and Sign's latest innovation, which introduces babysigning to new families in a gentle, multisensory class which focuses on your emotional connection and communication with your new baby.

There are places available on Monday and Friday at 1.00 p.m. at Punk Me Up cafe.

The Stage 1 class is the longest running, original Sing and Sign class, designed to help you integrate babysigning into your daily routines and activities with your baby of 6 - 13 months.

There are Stage 1 places available on Thursday afternoons at 1.45 p.m. at Punk Me Up cafe and on Friday mornings (only 2 places left) at 11 a.m. at Goose Green community centre.

The Stage 2 class is designed for increasingly independent toddlers, to expand their knowledge of the world and increase their vocabulary of signs and words.

There are Stage 2 class places in EAst Dulwich on Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Punk Me Up cafe and on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Goose Green Community Centre.

You may book a place here: https://www.bookmyclass.co.uk/singandsign/default.aspx?FID=22

Many thanks

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
    • Perry Bamonte from The Cure.. Just 65 years old.
