Dear family,

My name is Laura, i live in the south of France, in Toulouse, i am 20 years and i can not wait to find the family with who i will spend my au pair travel.

I am dynamic and I have an easy contact in particular with children. I think I am a responsible person with the initiative necessary for you to be able to trust me for baby-sit your children without being stressed or worried. And i think this is the important.

Until my 19 years old I lived with my parents and my sister Marion, who is 25 years old today, and living with her boyfriend and working in a travel agency. Patrick, my father is 53 and he works as a billsticker for an outdoor advertising company. My mother Corinne owns her beauty salon for more than 12 years today. My parents are very involved in their tennis club, and they organise every year a tournament during the summer which allows our friends and family to spend time together. Most of the rest of my family live around Toulouse so it is easy for us to see each others. I also have a cat named Fils since I am 10 years old. Today I live in an appartement in Toulouse city center with my best friend Marlene, which learned me to be independent and how to take care of the place I live in and of course improve my cooking skills.

I am very opened to different activities. Sports on the first hand, I run sometimes in the countryside when I am at my parents house. I played basketball for 7 years and I think it allowed me to learn a lot about team spirit. I also played tennis when I was young but I did not continue. I swimmed 2 years so I tried different sports and I consider myself as a sportive person. And on the other hand I like to do origami, to do embroidery, and I also create jewels like rings. When I was younger I loved to do scrapbooking to keep photos of my friends.

One of my main passion is cooking, I love to cook because I think it is fun and with cooking we can share with people.

I am in a transition year between my first year in the management school of my university and my second year that will begin next year.In my studies speaking english will be a real advantage.

This year I am working in an associative radio named Good Morning Toulouse, where I am the event organiser. With this activity I have met a lot of people and I discovered a lot of new musics obviously but also movies and arts.

This year I worked as a babysitter for 2 children, Pierre 10 years old and his brother No? 15 years old, we spent a lot of time together because I took care of them every Tuesday and Thursday evening and the afternoon every Wednesday. We played board games, we drew, we cooked together, and sometimes we watched movies like Jurassic Park or Paddington. It happens that I helped No? and Pierre for their homework. It happens that I had to take care of my nephew Kilian when he was 1,2 and now 3 years old.

This year I also was the homework assistance for Emma (14 years old) a girl I helped to prepare her exams and babysit when I was younger.

I have work as an extra waitress during the 2014 summer, that summer I also worked as an administrative assistant for a property management company.

I will love to become an au pair for a family because I think this is a very enriching experience and i want to share with new people, specially children because I love to spend quality time with them and I would love to learn them a few french words. I want to be daily helpful for a family and exchange with a different culture than mine. I also want to discover a new country and his language which will be very interesting for my futur.
