Black cat in Heber Road - Lost?

A black cat (see photo) has been hanging around in my, and neighbours' gardens for a few days. It seems to want food and human contact. It's mot not one of the regular cats we see, so I wonder if it is lost?

I lost my cat Cosmo at xmas, and haven't heard a squeak since...it's hard to tell from one photo, but, is he big? does he make a lot of noise, meowing? Coz also used to do this thing where he would flick his head like he had something in his ears, does he do that?...would it be possible to come over and have a look, maybe after work?
