  7. Carla, you're on this thread just as much if not more than everyone else, get a life yourself!
  8. The sound on modern tvs is notoriously poor, I would invest in a decent soundbar or just connect your telly to your hifi if you can, all you need is a cable...
  9. Hello, Try Rat Race Cycles, they serviced my bike recently and did a very good job: 18 Evelina Rd, Nunhead, London SE15 3HL
  10. well maybe the owners should actually do something with the property rather than sit on it and let it slowly rot. London has a massive deficit of affordable housing and many properties where the owners do nothing for years and years, it's just simple maths really...there was a time back in the 70's and 80's where alot of the properties in the area were lived in by squatters, especially along Camberwell Grove, so I say, as long as they are respectful and don't break the law then they should be allowed to squat empty properties where the landlord/owners seem to want to do nothing with it.
  11. That is complete rubbbish, they did not 'trash' the place, and were under no obligation to do the 'gardening'. You say that the features were 'damaged' and it was not 'maintained', that is the fault of the owners who obviously just sat on the place for years and let it fall into disrepair. People are very quick to blame squatters for everything, when in fact alot of the time they are doing the owners a favour.
  12. apparently they have got quite a taste for parakeets now, as do some owls, maybe they taste better than pigeons as they don't eat the rubbish that pigeons do.
  13. I saw one stooping and swooping above Denmark Hill railway station this morning, and then it roosted on the Sally Army church tower opposite. I'm not sure if there is a pair living there, but it would be fab if there was, might make a little dent in the ever expanding parakeet population.
  14. if it's got jesses (straps) then it has escaped, otherwise it's probably a Sparrowhawk, there are a few in Dulwich.

Are these places disguised as Nail Bars during the day ? smiling smile Your snobbery is still showing and getting worse, I'm expecting some casual racism in a minute...what a sour, unpleasant person you are.
  16. Dulwich Fox, I'm afraid you are talking utter nonsense, Peckham is no worse than any other area in south London, there are loads of decent restaurants on Bellenden Rd, Choumert Rd ranging from tapas to Thai street food, Dim Sum, Italian, good burger joints as well as the Bussey building, Frank's Cafe, Peckham Springs, Brick Brewery closer to and on Rye Lane...I could go on. So do try not to let your snobbery get the best of you, it's unbecoming and unfounded.
  17. I really hope it's not yours but there was a dead tabby on Choumert rd (posting below)which may be worth checking out...I have a big fluffy tabby boy so I understand you must be freaking out, again I hope this isn't yours...
