Playground at Peckham Rye Park

Anyone know how long the work at the playground is due to take? Is it only resurfacing or something more? We were headed there this morning but it looked like they were taking up all the soft rubbery flooring. I'm presuming it's being replaced but just wondered it's any more than that.

If you look on the Noticeboards on Goose Green you can see the plans. I don't frequent the playground these days but the plans do look exciting. Like you I'm surprised none of us knew. I literally saw the plans this last weekend.

Plans at Goose Green for Peckham Rye Park?? Either we're mixing up parks or it sounds like a Southwark Council classic!

wow I can't wait to see the new park - I go their all the time, it's such a beautiful park. :-) I was their yesterday and it was as normal and I had plans of going tomorrow but I guess I should give it a miss.

if we are talking about peck rye kiddies playground then the work man said it should be finished today and open tomorrow.

I was there at the beginning of the week with my 20 month old and it's all up and running agan. Looks great!
