MUDDY BOOTS Children's Outdoor Nature Group is on Monday and Friday as normal. 10-11.30am.

We will either be looking at some real birds nests and making our own, OR we'll be doing some sawing and making our own wooden necklaces! All sawing suitable for pre-schoolers of all ages (I control the sawing, they help me hold the saw).

A Muddy Boots session includes time at basecamp learning about an aspect of nature, a hands on nature based activity, a woodland walk, and then back to basecamp for a story and songs with snacks and a drink.

Sessions are drop in, no need to book. Its ?7 per child, ?10 for two siblings (if both over 15m) and all siblings under 15m go free. Discounts for child-minded children are available too. Meet at the green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road at 9.55am.

Hope to see you there!

    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
