Hi Does anyone have the recepie for a good Guinness Punch. We are having a bit of a do to Celebrate St Patrick's day, all suggestions and variations welcome.

Edited to say it needs to be the theme of St Patrick's Day. So maybe a mix of Whiskey, or pocheen(spelling I dont know).

And also Happy St Patrick's Day to you all for Wednesday, may all your wishes come true.:)-D

..Guinness and Orange? *

No, no, no....its just wrong.

If you must mix Guinness - the only thing is champagne, sweetie. Black Velvet.

Happy St. Patrick's Monica - hope your do goes well. xx

PS. Not tried it but the fabulous Levi Roots has this version Caribbean Guinness Punch

*in same tone as Lady Bracknell's ....... "A Handbag?"*

Yeh but she wants punch, innit.

Anyway, Black Velvet is a terrible waste of both the Guinness and the champagne :))

My mom made this for us a few times back in the day, its gross yet strangely morish- just don't do what I did & drop a jug of it on the front room carpet. :-S

MM again Mick Mac, although my name is named after something small and sweet, with a Mc in front of it.

Annasfield we will try that on Paddys night, Lady Muck can tell you all about it on Thursday.

Thanks for all your suggestions, we may try each and every one.>:D<

    • It's time to ditch your team, otherwise you could be seen to supporting your owners dog whistle comments (aka racist). Fortunately you can support a local team, I understand that Palace have pretty right on fans, and you have Dulwich Hamlet and Peckham Town too. If you genuinely are from the North West then Everton fans are well rated for their politics (ignore the paving over paradise/loss of UNESCO world heritage status), and of course FC United of Manchester. Salford Town not a bad bet either. For those who are glory hunters dare I say over the river in the North London library aka Emirates (shame they don't rhyme) you have both the likelihood of a title this season and a very multicultural fan base. If you want to be really cool the Welsh speaking team Club Cymric, Forest Green Rovers, or AS Livorno in Italy, an anti-fascist team
