Bookeeper required for local business

Recommended Posts

Hi, we need a bookeeper with experience for 10-15 hours or 2-3 days per week. Hours are flexible so can be around childcare, other jobs etc.

Knowledge of the accounting software Xero would be very useful.

Other duties would include checking invoices to suppliers / staff rotas inc' holiday admin / filing.

At present the business does not have any real methods in place so we are looking for someone who is organised and can take decisions pro-actively to help shape these procedures for the future.

For the first month you will spend a lot of time with me, Richard getting upto speed. The role would initially be for three months and if the business can support the extra pay then the role would be ongoing for the future.

We are looking for someone mature, organised and discreet.

Look forward to hearing..... Richard.

Hi

My name is Leigh Bruce. I am Executive Chairman of a small charity based in Peckham, London Community boxing. We urgently require book keeping support (about one day a week) as our book keeper recently retired and the expected replacement cannot now fit us in.

Let me know if you'd like to discuss.

Regards,

Leigh

    • But in many cases the leaks are happening in the same places again and again, and every inch of pipe outside the Horniman on the South Circular must have been replaced at least 3 times in the last 15 years! Of course the infrastructure in some areas is old, but locally there's been quite a bit of replacement. To little effect it would seem.
    • Thank you, Pugwash. That's really useful information. Do you know who was responsible for the locks and keys, or which council department? Could you PM me if you don't want to put someone's personal details on here?  It may save me having to speak to Monica. Thanks.
    • Does anybody know why? Trees aren't cut down for no reason. There must have been something wrong with it (I hope that was the reason). A child was recently killed and another one injured when a tree fell in a park (not in this area). It isn't always obvious from the outside when a tree is diseased or whatever, and I imagine the council would give safety considerations priority when deciding what to do, if there was any doubt at all.
    • It looks like they have cut it down completely now 😭
