Finding Peace in a Frantic World Course

This new course will show you how, through simple meditation practices, you can learn to let go of worrying about what has happened, or might happen, and find peace in the present moment. You will learn how to direct your attention to experience as it unfolds, moment by moment, with open-minded curiosity, kindness and acceptance.

What can mindfulness do for you?

Mindfulness is now recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). It has proven benefits for those suffering anxiety, stress, depression, exhaustion and irritability. It can also improve memory, reaction times and mental and physical stamina.

The course is being run by Caroline Hughes a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist(CBT)and qualified Mindfulness Instructor, delivering CBT and mindfulness courses in the NHS.

The eight week course starts on Monday 9th May, 2016, from 7.30 - 9 pm at JAGS sports club (Dulwich). Cost ?190.00 which includes a book and a CD.

When asked which variety of blue English cheese is often taken with port, he answered "Leicester" If nothing else he was entertaining.
