Mystery photo - can you identify?

A friend had this cutting on their noticeboard as they liked the image, but can't remember who it is. It was taken from a newspaper fairly recently. Can anyone identify her?

You can Google images like this, just right click on it and select search for image, that appears to be Dorris Lessing.

There are scores of copies of the photograph, of varying qualities and crops, on the net.

The original is actually attributed to Stuart Heydinger/Observer and dated 1962, when she was 42. The best uncropped version I've seen, perhaps because it's actually from the Guardian/Observer photo library, can be seen among a collection at http://www.theguardian.com/books/gallery/2013/nov/17/doris-lessing-in-pictures. I've attached a copy.
