OK, so I didn't get off to a great start with my 'breast feeding' threads, that's no reason to place a curse on me, my terrier and front door. I need to find the 'witch' who since registering on the forum has:-

Caused me to break two fingers in car door

break off key in front door lock

Caused my terrier "Bob' (sorry Bob, he's really called Bob) to suddenly have unexplained fits - pills, injections and MRI scan costing a mere ?1400.00 so far.

So if you see a chap walking around Northcross Road today with his left hand in plaster dragging a half drugged terrier on a blue lead, please say 'Hi'.

Any thoughts who the Witch could be? or how to shake off the curse (curse as in curse not STD version). It's not you is it Sean? Thought we were mates.

Sean, a pint would be good....I have been quiet of late, my bloody fingers hurt!! 'Bob' had another fit today so I am feeling terribly sorry for myself, I will buy you one or more back if you could lift this curse. I am a sad lonely bear at the moment, need a hug in a 'guy sort of way'......well..whatever!! xx

Hi Batdog, Thanks...an exorcist? mmmm! great idea but Bobs head hasn't been spinning around spewing 'chum' around the lounge or has he been levitating above the dog basket....yet anyway. I have never experienced such bad luck in such a short space of time, not sure what to do next?

    • Not fair on the patients or the consultants, either.
    • These very anti social fireworks went on for at least fifteen years and were unbearable for both humans and pets.    Was extremely relieved that they moved a couple of years ago.  Never experienced such close proximity loud fireworks before.   But the ones that go off in the middle of the night are also very upsetting and annoying.
    • Not they've gone. Everything has been ripped out. No sign of anyone new yet.
    • The frequency of fireworks seems to be increasing. If revellers selected the low noise variety that would help, but the trend seems to be the louder the better. I do not think sensitivity to stimuli is the same as timidity. Unexpected, extremely loud bangs and unusual noises will startle most of us. Humans, unlike other animals, have the luxury of knowing what fireworks are and what the noise represents. Some animals do learn to cope but many do not. It could be their hearing is not as sensitive. We should not forget that many animals, including cats and dogs have hearing that is much more developed than ours.
