I have two tickets for the Polka Theatre (one adult and one child) on Friday 3 June at 11:05 for a showing of "Pack my Bag". The show is aimed at children 2-6. I can no longer attend. I paid ?17 for the two tickets - any offers? Collect near ED train station.

"A playful performance about fantasy, imagination and? packing a bag, un-packing a bag; dancing with a bag and singing with a bag!Sa and La are building their own bag. A big big big suitcase. But what can they pack in it? Anything they like? I take a ball. I take a ball and a laughter. I take a ball, a laughter and a banana?Based on the memory game, often played by children."

  I agree it is odd. This is why I have contacted the cinema’s management via email. Right now, they are implementing it by not showing films with a maturity rating of greater than PG.

  That seems really odd. Was it really after just one complaint to the council? Do the council have a say in the cinema's policies? You would think that if the Picture House agreed that this change in policy was reasonable, they would apply it to all their cinemas. What is the upper age of the children at the baby friendly showings, or is one not specified? I'm not sure how I feel about the actual policy, I'm just surprised about why and how it has apparently been so suddenly implemented.

  The staff in there told me about today, as I went in the ask what happened to the schedule. They don’t have anything official written up. please feel to email them inquiring about the issue and or complain. [email protected] customerservice[at]picturehouses.co.uk I for one was really looking forward to seeing some films in the coming months.
