New Garden Fence - Recommendations please

Hey there,

Why is garden fencing so expensive? So far I've been quoted almost ?3000.00 for just over 20 metres of fencing (not for the standard panels, but even so!!).... does this sound right, can anyone explain?? any guidance or recommendations are greatly appreciated!!

I could also use some recommendations please (have been previously let down by others recommended on here).

OD, I've previously been quoted ?1000 for a ~7m fence (using concrete gravel boards and good quality panels) so your quote doesn't sound totally ridiculous.

Jan at Silver Fern Landscapes replaced a rotting fence and carried out some repairs on another area for us recently. Bits of the work needed some quite lateral thinking. I liked his can-do attitude and attention to detail. Price was more than fair too, I thought.

I used Oscar a couple of weeks ago who was recommended on another thread - 07545 372421. His team came in, installed a new fence to replace storm damaged sections, trimmed two trees and took the whole lot with them.
