Stuart MacLennan.

Labour Csndidate has his views about our older generation they are in his own words " Coffin Dodgers ".

You might think to yourself thats not me! But once you are pensionable age you are a " Coffin Dodger "

Some may think they are a drain on the Pensions Scheme.

But as in my own case I started to pay the deduction from 1945, to 1996 that means I have contributed for some 51 years.

Could it be the case he is thinking about is the new foreign workers who come here and are given the jobs before our own out of work? Who will get the full pension regardless of any contribution.

He has now been sacked from the Dunfirmlin Labour Party.

    • Many years ago, our neighbours were in a Southwark rented property. Both flats in house had access to a shared garden which was fenced off part way with each flat having their own piece of land. The front garden was shared and since both flats had young children, they put up a fence and gate between front door and pavement. Nothing was said by the council and even though those neighbours are now living else where, the fence and gate still remain and Southwark owns the freehold.
