Family with fantastic nanny looking for family to nanny share

Recommended Posts

Hi, we have three year old twins (soon to turn 4) - a boy and a girl. We have a wonderful nanny who has been with us for just over three years. The twins start Reception in September and we would like to get into a nanny share.

We are hoping to nanny share with a family with a baby, which we think would work well as our nanny would be able to have one to one time with the baby while our twins are at school, and they could all socialise together after school. Our twins are kind, loving, gentle and happy little people. They love babies and are used to being with them as many of their little friends now have younger siblings.

Our nanny came to us with outstanding references and she has fully lived up to them. She has over 10 years experience and is fun, calm, efficient and caring. She is also extremely considerate of our needs. Of course she is DBS (previously CRB) checked and is OFSTED registered.

Ideally, we would like to get into a nanny share for 4 days a week (total 42 hours). We potentially have some flexibility over hours if a family needs less than this, though 4 days is our ideal scenario and 3 days of share is our minimum. We also have some flexibility over start date. We could start anytime from now, and need to be into a nanny share by beginning of Sept at the very latest.

We have just finished renovating our house and have a large, bright space (big new kitchen/living room plus large lounge) downstairs so would be very happy for the nanny share to be based at our house in East Dulwich (Friern Rd). Please PM me if you're interested and we can discuss further. If possible, it would be helpful if you could PM me with your mobile number so we could chat.

    • Friend recommends Penge Cycle Club.  Southwark Cyclists usually do two social cycle rides on Saturday, you don't need to be a member (London Cycling Campaign) but recommended.  They are advertised on the What's On section of EDF. And you can go on their other Borough group rides, Lewisham Cyclists often do long rides. Generally very cycle friendly around here, despite occasional on line hostility.

    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
