What's with the Police and Firemen closed North X

Crime/fire.

There was a chemical spill - apparently a container fell out/off a car & someone ran over it by mistake. Seems to be taking a very long time to sort out.

also about half an hour before this an amulance and fast response car were outside william hills on north cross rd/crystal palace rd blocking off the rd anyone know why ?

It was a minor spill of acid in North Cross Road, according to the policeman standing watch.

Though why a container of acid should have been in the road for a car to run over, God knows.
