  1. I've said it before but I'll say it again, people who use the term MSM (Mainstream Media)
  2. I am still incredulous that Dave Spart is the leader of the Labour Party. The man is a Trotskyist. This isn't a "new kind of politics". It's the same hard left it's always been. Why can't people see that?
  3. Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Climate change or no climate change, humans have > managed to make a mess of this planet and continue > to do so. How is that a 'Tiny Little Thing'?
  4. JimH Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Did you tell her the above to her face? what is > the purpose of this post? It's called a rant.
  5. Genuinely, if the airplanes above stopped flying for some reason I would miss them. It must be 40 years of living in London. Don't notice them but when I do it's *almost* comforting.
  6. Over the past few years to the traditional sounds of an English summer, the strimming of hedges, the smack of leather on willow, has been added a new noise...
  7. Can I ask a silly question here? What is the actual reason for putting sand on the grass? How does it help?

  9. There's only two types of people in this world: liars or w*nkers.

  11. I would dispute that the police are "constantly" having to deal with antisocial behaviour there. I live right next to it and don't see the police that often. As a previous poster there is now a huge new fence around the reservoir. Also, the police escorting parents with children along there in the dark?!? I don't understand that.
  12. Newsagents that overcharge for stamps (that's you, Hardings on Cheltenham Road).
  13. Craft beer. It's just John Smith's with some elderflower cordial in.
  14. The way the contestants on Eggheads never just answer a question straightaway. They always given some preamble about the question. I'm sure they're told to do this.
  15. Go and read Mail Online for 5 minutes. That'll sort you out.

    MacBook Air

Any potential purchaser of a new 2015 Macbook would do well to watch this first:
  18. Saffron Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is there a difference between a park and a "park"? Yes. A park is owned and run by the local council. Nunhead reservoir "park" is owned and run by Thames Water. But it's not a park so by going onto the "park" you are trespassing. > Sorry, genuine question. As I'm not in a clique > (or a "clique"), maybe I missed something...? What clique? > I know the area was used by families and children, > dog-walkers, picnicking, flying kites. Yes, but of course you're not supposed to be on there.
