  3. Some CDs/vinyl are worth selling on eBay. Otherwise, take to Music & Video Exchange. In general, CDs aren't worth much at all unless they're out-of-print and therefore collectible. Vinyl collectibility depends on condition as well.
  4. Well said Marmora Man.
  5. It seems to me that this is about blaming Westminster/London/England for all your troubles. Just like UKIP blame Brussels...
  6. I'll cut and paste this from Comment is Free on the Guardian website cuz it sums up what I think. To a Yes voter: "You can indulge your naive fantasies about independence bringing about some kind of 'radical' or 'progressive' overhaul of the entire political and economic system if you like, but the reality is that Scotland will continue to have the free market economy that the rest of the democratic western world has, and will continue to be controlled by establishment party political pro-big business, pro-one percent parties like the SNP."
  7. It seems to me to be about 'blood and soil' nationalism which doesn't sit well with me at all. As does any English variant of it. (If you're a Scot who is against independence you're not really Scottish, apparently).

  9. Can I just bump this thread to point out what a divisive, poisonous ideology nationalism is? Thanks.
  10. Children with made-up names. Seren, Beauden and many many more. What's wrong with Mark or Philip?
  11. Clickhole.
  12. People who don't put the 'Next customer please' sign behind their shopping on the conveyor belt in supermarkets. Men who drive with the seat reclined really far back trying to look hard.
  13. A journalist who is "known for (his) strong views on mobile technology."
  14. When you go to a website and it says 'Click to enter website'.
  15. Who would have paid for the big refurb? Would Punch Taverns do that?

  17. Is it still a tied pub?
  18. How much do you get paid?
  19. Pepper spray and ground black pepper are two very different things.
  20. Speculation, but I know there is an unguarded drop onto concrete of about 15 feet on top of the reservoir just above the boundary of the allotments. It could be an entrance to the reservoir, there's no guard rail and you could easily fall from the grass. Of course, I don't know if this is what happened.

I agree with you. However, it's not 'irrational' or a 'tiny little thing'.

Yes. I am referring to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. As well as this Secret Cinema business.
