Part time nanny or childminder needed for June

Recommended Posts

I HAVE NOW FOUND A NANNY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR MESSAGES! x

Hello,

I'm looking for a temporary nanny to help me look after my 11 month old daughter from June 6th to June 20th. Our childminder is away on holiday and I am starting a course so will need time to study at home. Because I will be at home, I'm flexible as to days and hours, but was thinking 1pm to 4pm four days a week (excluding weekends).

Please get in touch if you could help.

Thanks

Jess

Hi,

My name is Katie and I'm a 19 year old student on summer holidays from university. I live in West Dulwich and so know local areas well. Last year in my gap year I was a full time nanny for two children in East Dulwich and I have had experience babysitting children of many different ages over the years. I am available for the dates you mentioned and would be happy to come over and meet you beforehand. If I can be of help please contact me on 07807280739.

Thank you,

Katie

Hi Jess,

I'm Elena, I'm a 24 year old qualified nurse.

I have childcare experience as I worked as an aupair in Dulwich Village for the lasts 8 months.I looked after two children: a 5 year old boy and a 1 year old girl.

At the moment I am unemployed, so I could help you for the dates you mentioned.

If you need, the family who I worked for can provide you my reference.

My telephone number is 07521205670

I'm looking forward to hearing from you,

Elena

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
