online school - a great alternative

Our son has recently started with InterHigh, an online school which is a fab compromise between the rigidity of traditional school and the total freedom (and responsibility!) of homeschooling. He is Yr 8 and hated mainstream school, but is now confident, interested and enjoying school.

He has 8 subjects thro the week, lovely teachers and classmates (class of 15 kids, several living abroad) and it really suits kids who flourish on more freedom and independance and parents who don't want to fully homeschool (would have been disastrous for us). Contact me if you'd like a chat ... I want to tell people about this option as we would have been seriously stuck if we hadn't come across this by chance!

  some of the comments on here are ridiculous. sounds like he is seriously harassing you and your family, which nobody should have to accept, especially if you have kids. speak to the council and involve the police if necessary so they take it seriously. if he's in council accommodation he needs to behave properly or they can evict him.

  The OP is asking for advice in dealing with a difficult neighbour (and what sounds like an extremely stressful situation) and it feels like they're being slightly attacked. It's quite possible that the individual does have serious mental health problems - the OP is in a better position to judge this than those responding to the thread - as they say, they're not saying this to stigmatise anyone, just providing relevant context.

  The Lordship is a good call. The Greyhound in Peckham also has a basement space for hire I believe
