Chassis compatibility

Im abit out of my depth on this one, but does nayone know. If I was to buy a icandy chassis can I buy a different seat unit (ie. quinny, bugaboo), or would it have to be a icandy seat unit? if I can what converter do you use? I hope someone can help me!!! Thankyou.

Hiya, never heard of adaptors to make this possible, other than so you can put a stage 0 (newborn) car seat on the chassis.

Pretty sure it simply isn't possible.

I don't think it's possible to use different seat units on the chassis of a buggy such as the ICandy or Bugaboo, however it is possible to use different car seats with the different frames, in which case there are adapters available. Perhaps this is what you mean?

Thankyou. No I did mean just the seat unit as my daughter is 15 months far too big for the car seat. Just finding it hard to find icandy cherry seat unit's but easily come across quinny buzz and bugaboo unit's wondered if they would fit.. Someone should come up with adaptors for this, to make my life easier... Damn't

icandy are available from Tommy's on Rye Lane and in John Lewis - on the website it does say they limit product to shops where you can be given all the after sales advice, so their not available online.

Check out http://www.pramworld.co.uk/category/422/iCandy_Cherry. They say they can't sell bugaboo or icandy online but that you should contact their sales team via phone. Maybe they can take telephone orders?

Thank you everybody, will try phoning round. I know they say they dont sell online, even finding a second hand seat unit is difficult. This is the last time I will 'build' my own pram.
