Wanted: handyman / sanding / carpenter

Hello

We are just finishing a house project on Ivydale Road in Nunhead.

We have a relatively small stair case - ground to first floor in a straight direction. The staircase was carpeted but the carpet has been pulled up as it was very old and is ruined from the works. The staircase underneath appears in good condition but has old yellow paint on it. We would like this sanding down back to the wood, so it can be stained / varnished and some carpet can be laid as a central strip on the stairs with the renovated stair boards exposed on either side. The stairs may also need a little light filing and prep prior to staining.

We have other handyman / sanding jobs if interested. Please PM or text me on 07958 310072. Would like to pay cash, and would like the works doing asap. builders are in all day at the moment, so can be flexible on times. Ben

  I've looked up previous media coverage and gather that the school warned pupils of the risk of police 'fines' for assembly under the extant Covid regulations. Don't you think they might have felt it a duty, to both pupils and parents, to do so?

  I'm glad that Barry's have posted. Their mention of the merger soon led me to (a) bushy-tailed PR guff about the new member joining the inpost 'family' and promising a bright happy world of lockers etc ahead. and (b) clear signs that the same problems related here seem to have been current and widespread even three months ago.   Do we still get 50+ outdoor community events per year?
