Virgin Media are uterly useless with their internet connection surrounding Dulwich (speaking here from Underhill Road) unfortunately though they appear to give the cheapest deal, if you can call ?28 per month just for internet connection a good deal. We would switch ASAP if a cheaper deal came out, NOT with Virgin.

We switched to BT on Barry Road about 6 months ago. We got Virgin installed in 2012 and all went well for the first 18 months or so. From Jan 2014 however the problems with their broadband in the area began. Despite promises of fixes the service never improved. We now have BT Infinity which has worked flawlessly since installation.

I must say though that we do miss Tivo. BT Youview is a very poor relation. There is a lack of content and the functionality on the box isn't a patch on Tivo. Its a shame Virgin can't get their act together.

    • There  is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class  with a wide range of ages.    The  teacher is Fi and she is amazing and  the classes are lots of fun.   look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes  (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs  at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge  which is a day of dance to include  just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website  ( look at the events section) .
    • that’s just been misused first by Faraz and then Starmer. It’s evocative and negative.  But it’s flooding the news today.
    • I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise.  Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.
    • So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
