Does your small business use payroll software?

Anyone with a small business using a payroll programme for staff wages? Could/Would you recommend it? Is it difficult to use? Any info gratefully received.

How small? HMRC has free software for companies with fewer than 10 employees. Otherwise look at Xero. Online accoutning package you rent that now has payroll. Haven't used the payroll but the accounting package is really easy to use.

Thanks, lovely information, funnily enough not one of the accountants I have spoken to have pointed me in the direction of that free resource!! Naughty accountants!
